Where am I Going…Where have I Been
I will continue to update this map as I journey throughout Thailand including the areas that I live and the visits I make to neighboring countries. Feel free to check back to this page and follow along as I navigate this amazing part of the world.
My first destination in Thailand!
Arriving at 10:00am on Saturday October 28th, 2017 and staying until Monday morning before heading to orientation in Hua Hin!
My week long orientation is located here in the beautiful town of Hua Hin! Here I will meet other teachers, take language classes, and visit an elephant sanctuary.
I took a weekend to visit the beautiful region of Chanthaburi, where friends and I rented motorbikes and drove to visit the beautiful Erawan Falls.
A few coworkers and I spent a long weekend in Chiang Mai where we walked with Elephants, scaled a gorgeous temple, and enjoyed their eclectic night market.
Some coworkers and I started got to spend out Christmas on the stunning Railay beach, with a drink in hand and sand beneath my toes I was a happy girl.
Next up on our Christmas vacation was a quick stop on the island of Koh Lanta. The island was calm and peaceful and we all enjoyed beach bars, stunning sunsets, and a trip to the national park.
The last leg of our Christmas vacation brought us to the Phi Phi islands where we took an amazing snorkling trip, saw Maya Bay, and rung in the New Year on the white sand.
Ayutthaya, the original capital of Thailand, was such an amazing area to explore. From stunning temple remains to the deep rooted history of their destruction, I loved every moment of this weekend.
